On Saturday, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, celebrated the marriage of his daughter, Modupeoreoluwa, to her beloved, Oladele. The joyous occasion marked the culmination of their love story, with the white wedding following a traditional ceremony held a week prior.

The union between Modupeoreoluwa and Oladele was solemnized at the Cathedral Church of Christ in Lagos by the Anglican Bishop of Lagos, Rt. Revd. Ifedola Okupevi. The sacred ceremony witnessed the exchange of vows and the blessing of their union before family, friends, and esteemed guests.

Dignitaries graced the wedding, adding to the grandeur of the event. Among them were Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu; Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State; Senator Hope Uzodimma of Imo State; Dr. Alex Otti of Abia State; Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State; Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State; and former Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, among others.

The celebration was a testament to the bonds of love and friendship, as well as the shared joy of witnessing the union of two souls embarking on a new chapter of their lives together.
