The Police at Force Headquarters issued a stern warning on Sunday night regarding the perpetrators of the killings of policemen who were on duty and a rescue mission in Ohoro forest in Delta State. They emphasized that those responsible for such acts should be prepared to face the consequences.

In a statement delivered by the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Muyiwa Adejobi, it was affirmed that the Force Headquarters would take all necessary measures to hold the perpetrators accountable for their actions. Adejobi condemned the killing of officers in uniform, labelling it as not only criminal but also evil, barbaric, and sinful.

Adejobi reiterated the importance of law enforcement officers who work tirelessly to defend and protect the lives and property of Nigerian citizens. He emphasized that targeting and killing policemen or any security agent is a disservice to the nation and will not be tolerated.

The statement concluded with a firm declaration that the Force Headquarters is committed to ensuring the safety of the personnel of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) and will pursue justice for those who have been murdered in the line of duty.
