In Minna, Niger state, the Directorate of State Security (DSS) and the state Police Command issued warnings and directives to Organized Labour concerning their participation in a nationwide protest set to begin soon.

The Directorate of State Security (DSS) in Minna issued a stern warning to Organized Labour in Niger state, advising them against participating in the nationwide protest scheduled to commence the following day. While affirming citizens' right to peaceful protest, the Police emphasized the need for demonstrators to abide by the law and respect the rights of others. They warned against any disruptive behavior, pledging to take action against anyone inciting violence or causing public unrest.
