The Police in Borno State have apprehended two individuals, a male and a female, for engaging in sexual activity at the All Denominations (ADC) Church Police College in Maiduguri, the state capital. The culprits, identified as Kaka Ali Umar of Damboa road and Khadija Adam of Ngomari area in Maiduguri, were reportedly caught in the act on Monday, 12/2/2024, at approximately 11:40 a.m. It is alleged that the security personnel assigned to the church facilitated the incident.

The Reverend in charge, Danjuma Adamu, informed the Police Investigation Team at the Metro Divisional Police Office that the apprehended individuals were found engaging in sexual activity inside the church premises. According to reports, after the act, Khadija claimed that Kaka Ali paid her N1,000 for a brief encounter.

A reliable security source involved in the ongoing investigation, who is not authorized to speak to the media, disclosed that the two suspects are currently being interrogated at the Metro police station. Following this phase of the investigation, the case will be referred to the appropriate authorities for further scrutiny and potential prosecution.
