A tragic incident occurred in Anambra State as a husband and wife traveling together on Wednesday were reportedly murdered by suspected hoodlums. The deceased individuals were allegedly killed and their bodies dumped inside the boot of a vehicle with the registration number: EE-621-EU.

Mr. Tochukwu Ikenga, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for Anambra State, confirmed that police personnel from the Oyi Division discovered and deposited the two lifeless bodies in a mortuary. He stated that investigations have been initiated to uncover the circumstances surrounding their deaths.

According to Mr. Tochukwu Ikenga, "Police personnel attached to the Oyi division led by the DPO have recovered two lifeless bodies abandoned in a car boot along the Enugu—Onitsha Expressway. The bodies have been deposited in the morgue while investigations have commenced. Preliminary information reveals that the persons were murdered and abandoned in a black Corolla car with reg plate number Lagos AAA 621 EU. Further details shall be communicated."
