APC PREPARING FOR PRESIDENTIAL REELECTION AGAINST PETER OBI LABOUR PARTY ALLEGES.

Labour party chairman urge party faithfuls to be ready and alert to humiliate the All Progressives Congress if the on going case turns out to reelection. He said the ruling party is already preparing for a reelection.

Barrister Julius Abure, the National Chairman of the Labour Party, has urged party members to remain vigilant in light of information he received regarding the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) making preparations for a potential rerun of the 2023 Presidential Election. Abure explained that the ruling party is aware of the unfavorable situation it currently faces in the ongoing legal challenge to the Presidential Election results as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

During an online meeting with the Nigerian-American Coalition for Justice and Democracy, led by Professor Eddie Oparaoji, the Labour Party Diaspora Chairman in the United States, Abure emphasized the need for over 10 million party members to be prepared to humiliate the APC and its government further in the polls if their alleged plot materializes. Acting National Publicity Secretary of the Labour Party, Obiora Ifoh, quoted Abure's statements in a press release, stating that the party should be alert and ready for a potential rerun, as rumors suggest that the government is already planning for such an event.

Abure further expressed that while the party's primary objective is the outright declaration of Peter Obi as the President of Nigeria, they should also be prepared for a rerun election if necessary. He assured that the party has presented all its evidence to the court and remains hopeful that the tribunal and, if needed, the Supreme Court will rule in their favor. Abure emphasized the need to build on the party's successes and strategically position themselves for the benefit of the marginalized people of Nigeria.

Ambassador Oseloka Obaze, the Director of the ObiDatti Presidential Campaign, called on ObiDatti members in the diaspora to see the struggle for reclaiming their mandate as a collective responsibility that cannot be abandoned. He highlighted the significance of the diaspora's contribution to the development of Nigeria and urged them to support the cause.

Professor Oparaoji, the chairman of the Nigerian-American Coalition for Justice and Democracy, spoke about the potential of the diaspora community to contribute significantly to Nigeria's development through advocacy, human rights promotion, capacity building, investment, education and healthcare support, diaspora engagement, and policy advocacy. He emphasized that the diaspora could act as a catalyst for positive change and contribute to Nigeria's long-term development goals
