The upcoming Michael Jackson biopic, "Michael," is scheduled for a worldwide release on April 18, 2025. Lionsgate will handle the movie's release in the United States, while Universal Pictures will manage its distribution overseas. Production of the film is expected to commence on January 22.

The experienced producer Graham King, known for his work on the Oscar-winning Queen film "Bohemian Rhapsody," is producing the biopic alongside John Branca and John McClain, who serve as the co-executors of the Michael Jackson estate. The script for the film was written by John Logan, the acclaimed writer behind "Gladiator" and "The Aviator."
