APC Chieftain Urges President Tunubu to Monitor Poverty Alleviation Funds

Bosun Oyintiloye, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun, has urged President Bola Tunubu to ensure effective oversight of funds allocated to poverty alleviation programs in Nigeria.

Bosun Oyintiloye, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun, has called upon President Bola Tunubu to closely monitor the allocation and utilization of funds for various poverty alleviation programs across the country. Speaking to journalists in Osogbo, Oyintiloye emphasized the importance of effective oversight in ensuring that efforts to alleviate poverty among the masses are not undermined.

 

Oyintiloye stressed the need for comprehensive strategies to guarantee that the president's poverty intervention programs have a positive impact on the lives of less privileged Nigerians. He expressed confidence in President Tunubu's commitment to overseeing all government activities and urged support for his vigilance in monitoring these crucial programs to prevent any misappropriation of funds.

 

As a member of the defunct APC Presidential Campaign Council, Oyintiloye commended the president for the allocation of N150 billion for poverty alleviation programs in 2024. He lauded this significant financial commitment, stating that it would greatly contribute to positively impacting the lives of numerous Nigerians.
