AFENIFERE LEADER COMMENDS AKEREDOLU'S STANCE AGAINST DOMINATION AND ADVOCACY FOR THE YORUBA PEOPLE

During a condolence visit, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, the leader of Afenifere, expressed deep admiration for Akeredolu's unwavering stance against what he described as the "domination and dictatorial power" of former President Muhammadu Buhari.

During a condolence visit to the residence of the late former governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, Chief Ayo Adebanjo, the leader of the Yoruba socio-cultural organization, Afenifere, expressed his admiration for Akeredolu's stance against what he described as the "domination and dictatorial power" of former President Muhammadu Buhari. Chief Adebanjo emphasized that Akeredolu's legacy would be remembered for his resistance to such forces.

Chief Adebanjo clarified that the purpose of Afenifere's visit was not solely due to Akeredolu's former governorship status, but rather because of his unwavering stand against the encroachment of Fulani herders in the West. He praised Akeredolu for his commitment to progressive politics and his courageous and consistent approach to addressing the issue.

Afenifere's leader highlighted Akeredolu's patriotism and nationalism, noting that he was vocal in his opposition to the activities of Fulani herders in the region. Akeredolu's firm stance, despite the perceived dominance and authoritarianism of President Buhari, earned him Chief Adebanjo's respect and admiration.

In conclusion, Chief Adebanjo emphasized Akeredolu's significance as a remarkable figure and a strong advocate for the Yoruba people, referring to him as "a fantastic and a great son of Oduduwa, the czar of the Nigerian progressive governors."
