Nigerian singer Iyanya recently revealed that the second piece of jewelry belonging to fellow artist Mayorkun, which was reported stolen, has been found. In a post on his X account, Iyanya expressed his gratitude to those who assisted in the recovery of the pendant.

Iyanya further disclosed that the recovered pendant has been handed over to Hon. Effiong Ekpenyong, Special Adviser, Events Management, Governor’s Office, Calabar, after being received by Mr. Duke Emmanuel at Hit FM Calabar. He conveyed his appreciation to the people of Calabar for their efforts in ensuring the return of the pendant, emphasizing the peaceful and hospitable nature of Cross River State.

Earlier, Iyanya had announced the recovery of one of Mayorkun’s stolen jewelry, which was returned to The Grand Hotel in Calabar. This development came after Mayorkun had expressed his reluctance to perform in Calabar following the theft of his diamond chains at a concert. However, after a meeting with Cross River State Governor Bassey Otu, Mayorkun stated that the governor had assured him of compensation for his lost valuables.
