LEICESTER SECURES DRAMATIC VICTORY OVER WEST BROM WITH STOPPAGE-TIME WINNER

Harry Winks scored a stoppage-time winner as Leicester secured a 2-1 victory over West Brom, maintaining their position at the top of the Championship. Despite a challenging period following a strong start under Enzo Maresca, Leicester managed to secure the win after Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's opener was nearly canceled out by an 89th-minute equalizer from West Brom's Josh Maja. The Baggies, seeking a late winner, were caught on the counter-attack, allowing Dewsbury-Hall to set up Winks for the decisive goal.

Maresca expressed his frustration at the scheduling, highlighting the difficulty of playing two matches in quick succession. Ipswich, securing a 2-1 victory against Coventry, remained just a point behind Leicester at the top of the table, with Wes Burns' impressive goal at Portman Road contributing to their win.

Leeds also stayed in the race for promotion, winning a thrilling encounter against Middlesbrough 3-2 at Elland Road. Meanwhile, Birmingham, under Wayne Rooney's management, continued to struggle, being held to a goalless draw at home by lowly Rotherham.
