PROGRESS IN UPLOADING POLLING UNIT RESULTS FOR GOVERNORSHIP ELECTIONS IN BAYELSA, KOGI, AND IMO STATES

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been uploading the results on the designated INEC portal. According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), significant progress has been made in uploading the results for each state.

The uploading of results from polling units for the governorship elections in Bayelsa, Kogi, and Imo states is currently underway. According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), as of 5:55 pm, 63.15 percent of the expected polling unit results for Bayelsa, totaling 1,417 out of 2,244, had been uploaded by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). These results were uploaded on the designated INEC portal.

 

In Imo state, 60.93 percent of the expected polling unit results had been uploaded. Out of the 4,720 expected polling unit results, 2,899 had been uploaded so far. This indicates progress in the collation and uploading of results for the governorship election in Imo.

 

For Kogi state, 54.56 percent of the governorship election results had been uploaded on the INEC portal. Out of the expected 3,508 polling unit results, 1,914 had been uploaded. This suggests that the process of uploading results is ongoing in Kogi.

 

The uploading of results on the INEC portal is a crucial step in the electoral process, as it allows for transparency and accountability in the announcement of election outcomes. The progress made in uploading the results indicates that the election authorities are working diligently to ensure the timely release of accurate and reliable results for the governorship elections in these states.
