Nollywood veteran Amaechi Muonagor has reached out for help regarding his health challenges. This plea comes shortly after his colleague, John Okafor (popularly known as Mr. Ibu), publicly requested prayers and financial assistance as he battles an ailment. In a viral video, Muonagor can be seen lying on a bed, appealing to his fans and colleagues for financial support. He revealed that he is grappling with paralysis, which has affected half of his left leg.

Muonagor, who is 61 years old, explained that he did not publicly disclose his illness earlier because he did not anticipate it lasting this long. He shared that he was on a movie set when he was struck with the problem and it has been progressively worsening since then. He expressed his inability to move or walk on his own, with half of his left leg paralyzed and his left hand immobile.

The veteran actor called on well-meaning individuals to come to his assistance, highlighting the severity of his paralysis and the challenges it poses for him. He emphasized the need for support and help from others.

In response to Muonagor's situation, actor Agbogidi Clemson Cornell attributed the regular health challenges faced by Nollywood actors to a lack of rest and self-care. He explained that due to the demanding nature of their job, many actors struggle to find time to rest and take care of their health.

It is worth noting that there were previous claims in 2016 that Muonagor was suffering from diabetes. Since then, he has not appeared or featured in any movies, leading to rumors about his departure from the movie industry.
