Vinicius posted an image on social media showing a man making a racist gesture towards him. According to BBC, Vinicius also received a second video clip showing another young fan being abusive.

Following the La Liga match, Sevilla confirmed that the identified individual was ejected from the stadium and handed over to legal authorities. The club stated that they would strictly apply internal disciplinary regulations and expel the fan as a member. In a statement, Sevilla condemned any racist and xenophobic behavior, emphasizing their commitment to eradicating such attitudes.

Vinicius took to social media to express his gratitude to Sevilla for their swift response and punishment. He described the incident as the 19th racist act he has encountered. Vinicius also expressed his disappointment at witnessing another racist act, this time involving a child. He emphasized the importance of education and called for changes in legislation to address racism in Spanish football.

This is not the first time Vinicius has been subjected to racist insults from opposing fans. Earlier this month, he provided evidence in the trial of three Valencia fans accused of racially abusing him during a match in May at the Estadio Mestalla. Vinicius has been vocal about the need for those caught engaging in racist behavior to face criminal punishment.
