The National Association of Nigeria Travel Agencies (NANTA) has announced that it has secured the support of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, in promoting Nigeria at the upcoming World Travel Market (WTM) in London. In a statement released by NANTA's National President, Mrs. Susan Akporiaye, it was revealed that the Ooni of Ife will be attending the event, which is scheduled to take place from November 6 to November 8, 2023.

Mrs. Akporiaye expressed her excitement at the prospect of the Ooni of Ife's presence at the WTM, stating that it would be a great honor for Nigeria and its rich cultural tourism heritage. She anticipated a significant turnout of enthusiasts eager to witness the esteemed royal's participation, highlighting the event as an unprecedented milestone in Nigeria's history.

With approximately 100,000 NANTA members expressing their interest in participating in the event, Mrs. Akporiaye emphasized NANTA's commitment to showcasing Nigeria's cultural tourism assets. She reiterated the association's dedication to promoting and marketing Nigeria's diverse cultural heritage, prioritizing the country's interests above all other considerations.
