He cited examples of successful cooperation, such as efforts to address irregular migration to Italy and the United Kingdom, attributing positive outcomes to proactive measures and mutual understanding.

The minister emphasized the need for Nigeria to shift from a reactive approach to a proactive stance regarding illegal migration. He stressed the importance of investing in proactive strategies to effectively address migration-related issues and prevent future challenges.

Overall, both parties affirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation and dialogue between Nigeria and France to address migration challenges comprehensively and proactively. They recognized the significance of collaborative efforts in achieving positive outcomes and ensuring the security and well-being of both countries.
