Density of bamboo flooring is 750 kg/m3 for solid and 1100 kg/m3 for strand woven which is much higher than 90% of hardwood species. Formaldehyde emission of bamboo flooring is only 0.015 mg/m3 which is much lower than laminate flooring and engineered wood flooring.
